The ERA-CLIM project is all about the production of global climate data sets (observations, model data, reanalyses, metadata) and development of robust data access facilities (Reanalysis Data Server, Observation Feedback Archive) for users of the data. Most of these products and facilities will become available during the final year of the project, in 2013.

HadISST2: An ensemble of global estimates of the evolution of sea-surface temperature and sea-ice concentration during the 20th century
ERA-20C: An ensemble of atmospheric reanalyses using surface observations and HadISST
ERA-20CL: An ensemble of land-surface reanalyses consistent with ERA-20C
Observation quality feedback from reanalysis, including error estimates, bias corrections, and quality control decisions
Data access facilities
Observation Feedback Archive: A new internet facility for retrieving input observations and data quality information
Reanalysis Data Server: An internet facility to provide easy access to gridded reanalysis data
| ERA-CLIM is a Collaborative Project (2011-2013) funded by the European Union under the 7th Framework Programme.
It is coordinated by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts and operated by a 9-member consortium. |
